Princess Avery Rann| Lake County, IL Family Photographer
One of the things I love most about photography is that, if even for a second it freezes time. It is why I love lifestyle photography so much. I have my clients dance, hug, cry, laugh, play and have fun. With my time with this amazing family we all did a little of that. This family is going through the unthinkable right now and I pray that if for the hour we spent together they didn't have to think about any of the bad and just had fun and that we made some sweet memeories that they can look back on and know in that moment, she was okay. She was smiling. She was happy. Avery, you are so loved baby girl. Meet Avery Rann. She is a beautiful, silly, incredibly imaginative, and crafty 6-year-old girl. Avery loves Disney Princesses, arts and crafts, making desserts with Grandma, and laughing. She lives a wonderful, happy life with her mom, Barb (Bell) Rann; dad, Russ Rann; and younger siblings, Roscoe and Charley. The Rann family live together in Sarasota, Florida among many loving family members and friends. Avery and her family are also blessed by a large network of family and friends in the Chicagoland area.
In July 2016, The Rann family's life was turned upside down. After complaining of headaches for several days, Avery was brought to the emergency room where a CT Scan revealed a tumor in her brain stem. She was transferred to Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago where she had brain surgery to biopsy the tumor in order to determine whether the lesion is aggressive or non-aggressive and subsequent treatment options.
Biopsy results have come in and our prayers have gone unanswered. Averys very rare brain stem tumor has been deemed aggressive. This is a battle that Avery can not win. Of course every single day she has left we will pray for a Devine miracle. At this point my goal is to help the family so that they can soak up every moment with their baby girl instead of worrying about missed/unpaid work, travel and medical expenses. And very importantly, making her every final wish come true. Please pray for her mom and dad. They need strength to endure this. Please share and keep sharing. We appreciate you all.
