"I had no idea it would be this much. I had no idea I could handle it. I had no idea how beautiful it all actually is."-tyler knott gregson
I think this is my first time sharing my own littles with my photography world and I am so excited and proud to do so. My babies were/are my inspiration to my work on a daily basis. Knowing how precious this time is, how truly fast it all goes. Realizing how important it is to document your days. I am and always have been super transparent. Do I use my big camera daily. Nope. To be honest, I never use it. Personally, for me. It's just too much. It's just easier to grab my phone, snap a quick picture and if it's one I love I will edit it with the VSCO app and print it using Mpix.com. Heck, there are some amazing momma photographers out there that can balance it amazingly freaking well, I am not one of them so this works for me. Speaking of this shoot for all of my kids milestones, please know how easily this was done. Nothing other than outfits were purchased. I gathered items from around my home to "style" my bedroom. The wreath was from my front door, plants from my dining room table and pillows from other rooms in my home. Do I keep a nice home, sure! But it definetly is not styled like a photography studio at all times. Trust me, I should've taken a shot of what the room looked like just behind the door and behind me. Just think, 10 loads of laundry. Just like any other home with 3 small children and a working from home momma right in the middle of 4th of July week. Pure chaos. But that's how I function best. I stress this all the time. Your home does not have to be perfect. You just have to have love and embrace the crazy. Capture the crazy and love the crazy because I keep on hearing that we're going to miss this all one day.
