Always chase your dreams | Long Grove, IL newborn, child and family photographer
If you would have told me exactly 2.5 years ago to chase my dreams because I would be here today I would have told you it was impossible. Without giving you too much history, I have been very lucky to have had some pretty amazing photographers take photos for my family. But it was when the amazingly talented Emily Lucarz came to my home to photograph my first daughter for her newborn session that my love of photography took a whole new spin. I was amazed at what she did, how she soothed and posed Isabella and just how much she loved what she was doing. One of the most beautiful things to any parent is their own child(ren) and who doesn't want beautiful photos of their child(ren)? I know I did so, I learned everything there was to learn about photography, or so I thought, lol. With the support of my amazing husband I decided to open Bella Nicole Photography and I am now realizing it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. Before beginning my journey into photography I was in school pursuing a career as a labor and delivery nurse. I have recently decided to put that on hold and focus 100% of my time on Bella Nicole Photography. I am IN LOVE with what I do. I am truly so blessed to have found a career that I am so incredibly passionate about and one that I love more and more just a little bit each day. Now not only do I have my own studio space in the absolutely gorgeous historical downtown district of Long Grove, IL, I get to share this space with the crazy talented Jess of Jessica Weinstock Photography. A few months back I shot my first birth session and I remember getting likes on my photos from some of the best local photographers. I was giddy with joy and pride as those who I once just admired via facebook and social media I now get to work with, laugh with and just have fun with. I am forever grateful to you, my clients who have trusted me to capture your moments. I know I always say this but without you I would not be living this crazy dream. I am forever grateful to those photographers in this crazy business who have seen something in me and who have taken a chance on me. Those who have mentored, helped, listened and guided me along the way, I am forever grateful. This has been amazing 2.5 years and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for BNP. When thinking about what a dream studio would look like for me I have always wanted a rich, warm look and feel. I am obsessed with anything boho, earth toned and natural for my client sessions and now I have that. My goal is that my clients come in and feel relaxed, at home and cozy in the historical setting of our new studio space. Pictures are moments captured, fun, real life moments.
Thank you all so much for taking this journey with me, it truly means more to my family and I than you know!
